Wedding Inspo From Bachelor Nation

Welcome to The Toast, your new go-to weekly newsletter for all things wedding. Each week, we'll dive into the latest trends, share tips, and bring you a variety of stories to inspire you from your engagement to your big day.

Itā€™s May and peak wedding season is here! This week I was thinking about how a friend of mine attended 17 weddings in one year! sounds expensive šŸ˜…. Makes you wonder, whatā€™s the record for the most weddings attended in a year? šŸ¤”

This week, we're inspired by former Bachelors, tips from a wedding planner, and celebrating love in Washington. Letā€™s dive in šŸ‘‡

āœØ Bachelor Nation Weddings: Inspiration for your big day āœØ

For all those Bachelor Nation fans, you know previous couples from the show have set the bar pretty high when it comes to weddingsā€¦ letā€™s take a look:

šŸ’ JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rogers are the ā€œitā€ couple in Bachelor Nation History. After a 72 month engagement (yes, thatā€™s six years for those counting!) they knew the wedding had to be worthwhile. The two celebrated their love at the Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, California.

šŸ’ If you have been a part of Bachelor Nation for a while now, you might know that Desiree & Chris Siegfred recently celebrated nine years of marriage! With two boys and another baby on the way, there ā€œlove grows stronger with each passing year.ā€ The couple had a beachside wedding at Wayfarers Chapel in Palos Verdes, California.

šŸ’ California seems to be a pretty popular destination as Sean Lowe & Catherine Giudici also got married there. Instead of in a church, their venue was at the Four Seasons Resort in Santa Barbara. Their ceremony was surrounded by hundreds of roses, a romantic nod to their beginnings on 'The Bachelor.' Nine years later, their marriage is still going strong, and they are now proud parents to two boys and a daughter.

šŸ’ Another fan-favorite couple, Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour, recently tied the knot, and TikTok is buzzing about their wedding. The two traveled all the way to Paris, France šŸ‡«šŸ‡· to celebrate their big day. The ceremony was held in front of a historic, grand chateau with a scenic pathway leading up to it. Their wedding struck the perfect balance between old-world charm and modern chic, making Paris the absolute dream destination to celebrate the start of foreverāœØ

These tasteful, smaller arrangements are not only perfect for brides as they walk down the aisle but also enhance tablescapes with their charming presence. Featured at Sofia Richieā€™s dreamy wedding, these dainty florals add a subtle yet beautiful touch to any celebration.

ā€œI regret thisā€

"I thought about this for a whole day and couldnā€™t think of anything I regret! The day was perfect!ā€

- Noelle W.

ā€œI regret not paying extra for the speakers for the musicians at the welcome party. You couldnā€™t hear them at all so it was a bit of a waste of money.ā€

- Yael H.

ā€œI'm so glad I did thisā€

ā€œIā€™m so glad I DIYā€™ed everything. I bought everything online in bulk and pieced things together. One of my suppliers for my business has thousands of western decorations which she let me use for free! We didnā€™t hire a florist, decorator, or wedding planner. Saved lots of money and was exactly how I envisioned.ā€

- Noelle W.

ā€œI am happy I curated the playlist to songs I and my guests specified and didnā€™t let the DJ just run free. That way there was no cheesy YMCA moment and every song was a banger.ā€

- Yael H.

In this section we'll be sharing tips straight from the pros! Wedding planners, photographers, florists, decorators, caterers, venues, etc. We want to hear from you!

Tips for your big day from Wedding Planner, Cait at Celebrait Wedding Co.

Capture Sunset Pictures: Did you know you can google what time the sun will set on any given day of the year? Well, you can! You can find out the exact minute that the sun will set on your wedding day, so plan accordingly to get those beautiful sunset pictures!

Ask Anything: Donā€™t be nervous to ask your vendors anything, even if it may seem like a silly question. Wedding professionals are used to getting requests and they are there to help you have the perfect day.

Florist Ideas: Many couples find the process of finding a florist to be intimidating. You donā€™t need to know all the flower names or exactly what you want. Instead, look through Pinterest for inspiration and create a board to share with your florist, that way they have a visual starting point!

Stay True to Yourself!: When making decisions, donā€™t let anyone push you into thing you donā€™t want to do. Make sure to focus on what matters to YOU. This is your special day, not anyone elseā€™s.
