👗 3D printers have officially made their mark on wedding fashion! Mariana Pavani wore the first-ever 3D printed dress at her wedding, a stunning creation by designer Iris van Herpen. This unique gown took over 600 hours to craft, including 41 hours of printing, reflecting a blend of beautiful design and modern technology.

🌟 Does this news make anyone else feel a bit… old? Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown just tied the knot with Jake Bongiovi in a private ceremony, one year after getting engaged. Reflecting on their first meeting, Millie shared, "As soon as we spoke I knew he was going to be a huge part of my life. I ran to my mum and said, 'I really, really like him!' After we met, we knew we never wanted to leave each other's side."

📰 The Wedding Newspaper 📰

Have you spotted photos with wedding newspapers on your Instagram explore page lately? This trend has been gaining popularity over the past year, adding a vintage flair to wedding celebrations, and we have to admit, it's pretty cute! It’s great for photo props and as a fun wedding keepsake.

Here are some creative ways you can incorporate a wedding newspaper into your big day:

  • Snap fun photos of the bridesmaids and groomsmen with the newspapers

  • Arrange a flat-lay photo with the newspaper, your engagement ring, and other wedding day accessories

  • Create a special edition for your bachelorette party. Include it in the bridesmaids' proposal boxes and have them bring it with them for fun group photos

  • Use it in your engagement photoshoot and use the photo as a ‘save the date’

  • Use it as a wedding invite. Although this could get pretty pricey if you have a big guest list

  • And more!

Where to create your own wedding newspaper:

“I regret this”

“I don't think I have a single regret about the wedding, except that I'm not in love with my dress looking back. The funny part is, that's the area where I feel like I spent the most time — shopping and searching for the perfect dress. I think the takeaway is that there's so much pressure to choose a dress you'll love forever, and that's just not realistic. My taste is constantly changing, and I could only choose based on what I was into at that moment in time.”

“I'm so glad I did this”

“We almost didn't do speeches, and I'm so glad we did because my sister gave the absolute best maid of honor speech. My mom, dad, and myself are all writers, and my sister is an engineer, so she shocked us all when she gave the most clever, hilarious, and thoughtful speech that had everyone laughing. It was such a proud moment for me as a big sister, and so many people came up to me that night to say how great she did. My advice here would be to let the people you love help you, and even surprise you with an amazing speech, on your wedding day.”

Guests Standing During the Ceremony: I have seen this too many times where the officiant totally forgets to tell everyone to rise. Everyone kind of looks around because they know they should be standing but everyone is sitting and no one wants to be the first to stand. Avoid this by just double checking that your officiant has the invitation to stand in their notes.

What Happens After Your Grand Entrances: Grand entrances into the reception are so fun! But it can quickly turn awkward after the couple enters and the music stops and then… Nothing happens. Lack of instruction for what is next leaves everyone confused. This all comes down to having a DJ that’s great at their job. Chat with your DJ beforehand and make sure they know the order of events so they can keep things moving.
