Everyone kind of looks around because they know they should be standing but everyone is sitting and no one wants to be the first to stand. Avoid this by just double checking that your officiant has the invitation to stand in their notes.

What Happens After Your Grand Entrances: Grand entrances into the reception are so fun! But it can quickly turn awkward after the couple enters and the music stops and then… Nothing happens. Lack of instruction for what is next leaves everyone confused. This all comes down to having a DJ that’s great at their job. Chat with your DJ beforehand and make sure they know the order of events so they can keep things moving.
